Reminds me of one of the few MASH episodes where Charles Emerson Winchester comes off looking like a good guy. “Well I can strike the proper keys - YOU can PLAY the piano.” (Or something like that.)
The guy was a concert pianist. Lost a hand in the war. Wanted to die, but Charles got him some one-hand Piano music. I think it was Ravel, who wrote for a friend after WWI.
