a compelling public safety rationale for having speed limits

Everywhere? There are straight stretches of highways with little traffic and cars that will travel safely at 120 or more mph.

there is, in fact, a compelling public safety rationale for having speed limits.

Is there a compelling public safety rationale for having roadblocks? Yes or no?

What you're saying here is unbelievable

So when are you going to storm the US capitol and remove all the vermin?

You twist and obfuscate and misdirect. A "study" is not a compelling public safety rationale for a roadblock.

But I think everyone else here sees what you are doing.

The only question is "why".
