Well, true but it begs the point: how many of these Tea Party conservatives were conservative in the first place? And what does that say about the Tea Party that Scott in FL is backing down on Obamacare, Ayotte and Rand Paul and Rubio on immigration, and so on? Either the Tea Party isn’t picking very well or these people are pretty flimsy.

Probably a bit of both. Better vetting of candidates on more than just TEA (taxed enough already) issues, and once elected they also might start drinking the Republican/Rove kool-aid that somehow "socially conservative" Latinos will flock to the GOP once given amnesty.
