Name a television show in which the dad was a real man? I can’t think of one in the last 25 years. Manhood’s been under seige for generations. Why don’t we have cowboy epics? Because we’ve lost our cowboy ethics.
Of the few I do, those that immediately comes to mind are “Seventh Heaven”, which has now started an entire series rerun, “Little House on the Prairie” and “House” (before it got wierd” .
I do enjoy “The Big Bang Theory” and Sheldon is my favorite character!
Of the dads portrayed, I doubt you can find the standards of the ones I mentioned lacking in manliness.
God knows that my first love was a cowboy!
But girls are attracted to bad boys.
Just like boys are attracted to bad girls.
But most of us grow up.....
