Canada has been complaining about this for at least two years. I remember a story where a woman’s family migrated to Canada when she was a child and became Canadian. In her 30s, the IRS starts demanding taxes from her - and her now working teenaged children who were born in Canada.

Hmmm...both she and her kids might be wise to refrain from trying to enter the US until the situation is straightened out.The mother might have trouble setting things straight,I don't know. The kids probably don't have much of a problem but they must realize that the US considers all of them to be US citizens. In fact, the husband...being married to a US citizen...might also be considered a citizen *just because* he's married to a US citizen. They might be wise to check that out as well.If any or all of them choose to renounce their US citizenship (which they have the right to do) they might be denied entry into the US after having done so.I've read that that's the case...don't know if it's true.
