If amnesty passes, America has about 50 years before it becomes a third-world hellhole. It should take longer to consume the resources of the richest country in the history of the world, but it won’t. Liberals have proven that their appetite is unbounded. Despite today’s infrastructure of roads, dams, bridges, buildings, power plants, factories, schools, and hospitals, we will have nothing left by the time today’s teens are entering their 60s. Their children will not even know how to rebuild or what went wrong.
Without amnesty, we have a couple extra decades and a chance of turning things around. It’s not much better as a forecast, but at least it’s a chance.
I think of the movie "Idiocracy," with the old skyscrapers held together with rope because the people are too stupid to fix them or build more. That is just what we're heading for.
