Why do this teacher’s right to work, come ahead of childrens’ safety? The school is probably afraid of another Newton massacre. The teacher told them her husband was dangerous, and to “look out for him”. Well, guess what? It is not your employer’s responsibility to keep you safe from your ex-husband; the school is only responsible for keeping the children safe. I am sure lots of feminists will rally around this woman, but the fact is what her employer did is not illegal or discriminatory. They terminated her employment for safety reasons. Feminism and domestic violence advocates almost never consider children - only women.
