WASHINGTON – For the first time, America's racial and ethnic minorities now make up about half of the under-5 age group, the government said Thursday. It's a historic shift that shows how young people are at the forefront of sweeping changes by race and class.
The new census estimates, a snapshot of the U.S. population as of July 2012, comes a year after the Census Bureau reported that whites had fallen to a minority among babies. Fueled by immigration and high rates of birth, particularly among Hispanics, racial and ethnic minorities are now growing more rapidly in numbers than whites.
Based on current rates of growth, whites in the under-5 group are expected to tip to a minority this year or next, Thomas Mesenbourg, the Census Bureau's acting director, said.

I wonder what these numbers mean. Hispanics in the United States don’t have a high birthrate.

I can attest to this by seeing it in everyday life because I have had to go into parts of town that no white man needs to be after dusk while working. You will find black families where there are 4 or 5 kids living with a single mom who may or may not be around if they have a drug or drinking problem. The will often be by themselves with the oldest looking after them and they may run from house to house r apt to apt. If the do have a father often he is just like the mother and may be sexually assaulting when the mother isnt home especially if he’s unemployed though he may be selling drugs and making more than he would at a regular job but is still getting foodstamps . And you wonder why so many end up in prison. Education really does make a difference in those environments.
I can’t force people to have children, can I? People who don’t want to have children don’t want to perpetuate their culture.
You can’t force Whites to have children, but do you have to pay for those of other races to do so?
Besides that, who is benefiting from these programs? Probably not the recipients, who don't really improve the quality of their life. There are people who make a lot of money off the government.
Also, the United States contributes a lot of money to programs designed to coercively stop people in the third world from having children. Why should I pay for that? Why should I pay for the population control programs of Warren Buffet, who is a billionaire?
I don’t consider them “white.” They are brown. Whites are European.

It’s nice of you - and very, very modern - to be so “color neutral” about government payouts.
But I have to wonder about the intellectual acuity of someone who can’t see that the White race is subsidizing the uncontrolled growth of the Black race.
No “racism” intended; however, when the constitution requires racial neutrality, it rankles a bit that I’m paying for an entire generation of Black people to abstain from educational self-improvement and run riot in their neighborhoods shooting each other and killing the nighbors with stray rounds.
How is anyone subsidizing, “the uncontrolled growth of the black race?” What is the black birth rate? 2.0? Less than replacement rate? How is that uncontrolled growth? I guess you are happy that you are subsidizing abortion, which is prevalent among blacks?
