Exactly. The vitriol and name calling is the main reason conservatives are so often on the losing end. Libs rally around their causes and candidates while conservatives fight among themselves with a holier-than-thou attitude .
It just gets ridiculous at times.
And who the hell feels like arguing with people who basically love and believe the same things you do, but disagree on an issue or person?
I get sick of it. I understand people get passionate but leave the name calling to the other side. It’s what they do.
I have seriously considered calling it a day on Free Republic because of the vitriol that goes on with every issue. I understand that everyone can’t agree on everything, but the nastiness is just pervasive. It didn’t used to be that way. I remember when the debates were reasoned, sourced, and exchanges were civil. Wolf, I have been seeing you a lot lately on various threads and noticed that you invariably pick out one person to disagree with and start a nasty exchange to ruin the thread. I actually wondered if you might be one of Obama’s Cyber patrol who he dispatched to cause chaos on conservative sites. But I see your sign up date is 2003. You should know better. That’s my rant for the day.
