Rush was having a lot of fun with this... His take was was hysterical... I hope a lot of you folks here heard it...
I heard Rush’s discussion of this and it was great. I hope that we keep the pressure on and the provision requiring Congress critters and their staffs to be covered under Obamacare (and not their current Federal Employees Insurance) stands. It will be poetic justice.
My understanding is that the requirement for them to be covered under Obamacare is effective January 1, 2014. I’m hoping that’s the case and I’m further hoping if they delay retiring until after December 31, 2013 they will LOSE their current insurance coverage and any retirements after that will not allow them to carry that Federal Employee’s insurance into retirement—they instead will have to root around the Obamacare pig trough with the common folks.

I just heard Senator Oren Hatch on the Greta show—and that doofus says “it’s going to be corrected, all Federal employees should be treated the same”. In other words he wants to have our Congress critters exempt from Obamacare and be able to stay in the Federal Health Care Program.
We need to keep a close eye out on ALL our Congress critters to make sure that Oren Hatch and the other members of the “ruling elite” don’t try to weasel out of this.
