Police: 3 women attack man with bleach on bus

Three women are accused of attacking a man on the number 28 MTBA bus and then throwing bleach on him.

Police said the women hit a man over his head and stole money from his pocket. As they were leaving the bus, they took bleach from a water bottle and threw it in the victim’s face, according to police.

Neighbors in the Roxbury community were horrified. “Yeah it is disappointing for these young kids. There should be a whole lot more going on than throwing bleach,” said one woman.

“The reason why the kids are out of hand is because there’s no discipline in the home,” said James Grant.

There were some people on the bus that did come to that man’s aid. Police said the man has had trouble seeing since the attack.

I was on a bus in Boston about a month ago, heading to South Station. Heard a female on her cell phone say the N-word at least 50 times during a 20-minute conversation. The other word mentioned frequently was “disrespectin’.” It was a change from the usual cell phone chatter of “and I was like oh my God...”
