Rand Paul's Message To Evangelicals: "There is a war on Christianity"

Even when we’ve tried through good intentions to make the world a better place our actions have often backfired.

During the Iraq War, over a quarter-million Iraqi Christians fled Iraq. Saddam Hussein was a brutal dictator but his government was secular and therefore relatively safe for Christians. Christians, however, feared the Shiite government that we helped put in place after Saddam, and they fled in droves.

Where did these Christians go? They headed mostly for Syria, joining the over one million Syrians who have lived as Christians since the time of Christ.

Now, the senate is attempting to arm the rebel forces in Syria, many of whom are al quaeda or affiliates. they do so out of a misguided attempt to stop the violence in Syria.

Instead their actions will bring more violence and more persecution of Christians, who have long been protected in Syria.

I know this was posted by someone earlier but this was before we started hearing all the Obama administration's war drums.

Seems the Syrian government was one of the very few that protected Christians in the middle east. I am not so sure we're on the right side of this conflict. Obama appears totally committed to his muslim brotherhood.

Obama has helped the muslim brotherhood overthrow governments in Egypt and Libya and now he's trying to help them overthrow the government in Syria. How many wars will the brotherhood want us to fight in their behalf?

Anyway, I believe we may be on the wrong side of this conflict.

>> Obama appears totally committed to his muslim brotherhood.

I believe the goal is to destroy the influence of Christianity, which in the primarily Caucasian West, is the backbone of capitalistic liberty.

Jesus Christ is the greatest threat to tyranny, one-world governance.

There won’t be any one world government run by men. Remember that all the prophecies concerning Christ’s return say “kingdoms” in the plural, referring to mankind’s governments. There will be some colossal superpowers fighting each other, though, otherwise there wouldn’t be any Tribulation.

The most powerful politician in the country is a race-obsessed socialist. He surrounds himself with like-minded dangerous and sinister people. Through legislation he has coerced vast swaths of the engines of commerce towards dependence on the state. He has passed laws that can imprison any citizen on vague charges indefinitely and without legal representation. He has turned the treasury into a candy store for his friends, with “ministers” to oversee its distribution. He spirits around effortlessly from leisure activities to secret meetings with yes-men. He has security unequaled in history. He collects minutiae on citizens, cross referencing contacts, watching for dissent. His speeches are crass, shop-worn appeals to class warfare, and “getting even” for wrongs real or imagined. His audiences, which constitute his "shock-troops" love it. He has a distinctive logo that represents the ideals of “the movement”, and literature that outlines his tribulations as a youth. And now he's beating the drums of war.

Question: What year is it?

Rand Paul is certainly on the wrong side by fighting for amnesty and open borders.

That holds pretty well with his libertarian bent.

This country is not going to be libertarian if we import a supermajority of Obama voters.

Libertarian doesn’t have to mean suicidal.

He is right. To me, one of the best reasons to see Chrstianity as morally correct, is to see how it is the ONLY religion that liberals want to persecute and criminalize.

The source is deeper.

It’s spiritual warfare.

Fallen angels aren’t threatened by those who aren’t believers in fellowship with Christ. Where they are unable to succeed in tempting believers out of fellowship directly, they will influence if not possess those around them to hinder, impede, distract, and oppose the Christian way of life which is a spiritual life.

Those who oppose believers oppose Christ first.

In the process of quenching the Holy Spirit, they will not be satiated in their worldliness until they have the blessings God provides, but they continue to reject Him.

So they will substitute counterfeit institutions for His established institutions for man living in fellowship with Him, namely the institutions of volition, marriage, family, and nation. They oppose the free will of believers to witness to their fellow man. They attempt to promote adultery, fornication, homosexuality, divorce, and now counterfeit marriage between LGBT. They seek to promote homosexuality and divorce, elimination of discipline of children by their parents, and promoting 2 income households as the norm, destroying the institution of the family. They seek to promote a one world government independent of national bounds, substitution of international power structures in politics, religion, intellectualism, military, and economics outside of national framework. All of this is to advance any agenda independent of God’s Plan for man.

Interestingly, for all the opposition to God, the same adversaries hate and oppose one another, but the one thing they agree upon is their adversarial relationship to God and anything associated with His Plan.

Believers are players in spiritual warfare, whereas unbelievers are dead. Believers can actively oppose the actions of fallen angels, while unbelievers can only seek false worship of false gods and their bodies and souls for possession and influence by others.

While the Hebrew nation still has a position in future events in God’s Plan, and will remain as targets for unbelievers, until they accept the Messiah as their Savior they will be secondary targets compared to believers who remain in fellowship with God.

Even as this strategic play unfolds before fallen angels, one magnificent stroke of genius remains in humanity. We are all condemned before we are saved. All human unbelievers share this common aspect with believers. The Good News, is that due to the work of Christ on the Cross independent of human good works, remaining obedient to the Will and Plan of the Father, the penalty of all sins was paid and no man is now required to be held in bondage to the Adversary. Through faith in Christ, every human has an opportunity to fight Adversity by also becoming a spiritual warrior no longer under the bondage to good or evil, nor to the Adversary.

For every cursing there is a blessing, through faith in Christ. Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus Christ.

Christianity promotes freedom and they can’t have that attitude in the NWO...

Well said, Cvengr! Thank you for reminding us of this truth. I just want to add.........

We wonder how our Obama and his crowd are able to continually get away with their obvious lies and hatred for America and yet no one seems to want to challenge them. The only answer possible is "It’s spiritual warfare". Unbelievers can't see the truth, or discern the lies.

It's so frustrating, and in those moments when I feel that we are at a dead end, then only thing that will revive my spirit is to remember what Christ did..... you said it nicely, "no man is now required to be held in bondage to the Adversary. Through faith in Christ, every human has an opportunity to fight Adversity".

Each of us who read and post daily here at FReeRepublic need to be spending an equal amount of time daily on our knees in prayer. James 5:16 says "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." And that is a powerful verse.

I agree with you on that but he does seem to be right about most everything else. It’s a shame he misses on the immigration issue.

Not sure if that is true - he is saying that first the border has to be secured, for real, or else he’s a no vote on it.

Unlike Rubio, who joined the gang of eight, Sen. Jeff Flake, R-AZ, Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-SC, Sen. John McCain, R-AZ.

Rand is closer to being for freedom than most of what is out there! And that he supports protecting christians pushes him over the top for me.

Hell, our own military won’t lift a finger to protect christians as they are to afraid to offend moo slimes!
