A robbery suspect was shot early this morning after attempting to hold up a game room in East Fort Worth, police said.

I have to ask you a BIG favor.
Could you please add the keyword, “armedcitizen,” to posts like this?
It makes it a bit easier to find these kinds of posts to use against the hoplophobic morons on other sites who proclaim, “GUNS ARE EEEEEEVIL!!”
Considering you are the one FReeper who posts the most threads about our 2nd amendment, I just thought I’d ask.

Thanks, FRiend.

“Needs more range time...”

Dunno ‘bout that.

Being shot in the knee by a shotgun must be a serious case of ‘kneesels’.

Coulda been worse - think of catching smallcox from a shotgun.

Probably two shots.

Or perhaps the perps head was in close proximity to his knees...

(from another article)

http://www.star-telegram.com/2013/06/13/4934339/robbery-suspect-shot-in-fort-worth.html

At some point, another employee who had been in another part of the business heard the commotion, brandished a handgun and fired at the suspect. The suspect was hit several times, police said.

(and another article with more details)

http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2013/06/13/man-shot-trying-to-hold-up-fort-worth-smoke-shop/

The second employee heard a commotion and pulled out a gun, shooting the suspect three times — in the knee, calf and head. The suspect was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. If he survives, police plan to charge the man with aggravated robbery.

(And here is a different article from last year, when four gunmen tried to rob a game room in Fort Worth.)
