I have no idea. After Teddy Kennedy's royal funeral I doubt it happens any longer. I think liberalism has spread so far and wide it is here to stay until the host (US) is devoured, and God puts a stop to this insanity. Why, exactly, the Catholic Church doesn't flat-out excommunicate politicians who pass laws that conflict with Catholic and Christian mainstream doctrine to such an extent that it would have gotten them burned at the stake in an earlier era remains a mystery to this ex-Catholic.

If she was excommunicated, she'd probably spin it as a badge of honor; saying see was fighting for women's reproductive rights against the oppressive dogma of the Catholic Church. Sadly, a lot of her base in the San Francisco area agrees with Pelosi’s position on abortion.
