Nods... it is funny to think back, remembering when I first was told about FR; way back in the time of hanging chads, small smile.
My mother, who was always she of the, “there is never anything new under the sun, and we have survived worse”, crew, was SO taken aback. She said people were behaving as if we were some kind of a third world nation, (has to smile to think of it). And with her being a Navy wife for all of her adult life; who had loved living and meeting folks from all over the world; I knew this was something she knew more than a little about ;)
I never imagined that it would get so much worse, and so rapidly... especially after 9-11. I was SURE that the American people would recognize the wake up call, and that we would right the ship...
