Really? I knew they didn’t like Haoles much — I met many folks who had move to HI and left for just that reason — but do any actually get killed that day?

But they are sure delighted to take the Haoles' tax dollars. Hawaii is a high welfare recipient state i.e. Democrat.

No one is killed - just roughed up a little.

Its been a tradition in schools towards the end of the academic year for decades.

I’ve lived here on Maui and know all about this first hand. Not all locals , Hawaiian or Asian hate whites. There are, of course, a minority that do but still bring no harm to them. I’ve been here 44 years and never , not once , had that problem and my two daughters went through the school systems here with no problems what so ever. This “hate whitey” thing gets blown out of proportion and many believe it that do not know first hand.

I lived on Oahu
Occasionally I heard some filthy words followed by 'you haoles'.
They were never spoken to me. (or knowingly in front of me)
The few times it happened they were males yelling at male tourists. (that had made someone angry)

All of the people I met that lived there treated me very well.
They were kind and friendly.
