An Al-Qaeda dictatorship on Israel's border. What could go wrong?

Much of the Israeli leadership consider al-Qaeda preferable to Assad. The Israeli fear of Iran and Hezbollah is that great. That opinion is not universal in Israel and in any case should not affect American decisions about what is best for America.

I think the time stamp on your argument is far too recent.

Bashar Assad has been in power since 2000.

Except for the nuclear reactor in 2007, he's never directly provoked a serious confrontation with Israel.

No one can say where Syrian A-bombs might have ended up, but who can blame Bashar for thinking like the Iranians and the North Koreans and the now murdered Gaddafi.....

When you have “The Bomb” no one tries to kill you.

The problem with Syria began AFTER the “Arab Spring.”

After Obama publicly warned the Egyptian military to stay out of the power struggle in Cairo, after Obama signed Gaddafi's death warrant, the Islamic Brotherhood was guaranteed command of Egypt and large portions of Libya.

It was just a question of time before the The Brothers in Syria revolted - AGAIN - against the Assad family.

You know what should really worry you, Colonel?

Look at the Westerners who hate Assad.....

Obama, Reuters, BBC, AFP.

Jew haters, Israel haters, top to bottom.

Assad is a tyrant and an evil man.

But the enemy of my enemies is my friend.

Exactly.

These Americans were murdered never anticipating with their last thoughts
that America would betray them and actually arm their murderers
against Christians worldwide.
