I hope you’re right. I know it’s tough now. If we get a sea-change in leadership, we may be able to take measures like some states have to discourage illegals from staying here. Then they repatriate and the country improves.
If this thing passes, we’re in trouble.

Let me see if I got this right. Fed law prohibited welfare and public assistance benefits to illegals, but many states handed out the candy and now Boxer wants to reimburse them?

There is no point in even bringing this to a vote in the house. The democrats have proven again and again that they are utterly without honesty or honor. Anything the republicans vote on in the house will be converted to a pure marxist bill when it returns to the senate.
If the illegals want to get violent about it then the country will see who the democrats are cuddling up with.
