The introduction of Hezbollah and Iranian troops are in effect committing reserves. That is troops of Syria are exhausted and no longer capable of coherent battle. Assad has no reserves

We now have a situation where command will be fragmented and incoherent.

The rebels are winning

<.....”is being played out like this so that Israel can attack iran:....>

Israel will do what Israel does regardless of the plays or players....they,ve been informing the world even before the Syrian crisis that they would do this...with or without the International Community.

This just makes it convienant.....

Note: Do not take eyes off Putin...and Turkey.

No, I do not. There is a misconceprion rampant on Free Republic that the Syrian Rebels are terrortits. While there may be some AQ involved, they are not the majority of the rebel factions

I disagree....the protesters have long been taken over..which is where this began....Assad spoke loudly right from the get go that Terrorists were infilitrating...and so did the Protesters and intital Rebels....

This is now a Proxy war....and Assad said this would happen...he knows the people there better than any politician in this country..and he knows how the terrorists operate and who is behind them.

We’re being kind by calling them terrorists...when in fact they are ‘the means’ foreign countries are using now to remove Assad...to further the Global Agenda.

More unrest this am all hell breaking loose

Turkey: Thousands Riot In Istanbul, Rally In Ankara
June 16, 2013 | 1137 GMT
Thousands rioted overnight on June 16, blocking a main highway, building barricades and starting fires, Reuters reported. Several hundred people walked toward a bridge that crosses the Bosphorus on the way to Taksim Square, while thousands rallied in the working-class Gazi neighborhood in Istanbul and around Kugulu Park in Ankara. Opposition members of parliament joined the rally in Istanbul. KESK, a public-sector union group with about 240,000 members, said it would call for a national strike on June 17. The protests have been ongoing for two weeks and may have a lasting economic impact on the country.
Kuwait: Court Orders Dissolution Of Parliament
June 16, 2013 | 1211 GMT
Kuwait’s Constitutional Court on June 16 ordered the dissolution of parliament and called for new elections, head judge Youssef al-Mutawa said, Reuters reported. The court made the ruling after it dismissed an opposition challenge to changes in the electoral system decreed by the emir, al-Mutawa said. Kuwait’s government has turned increasingly to the courts in its long-running power struggle against the country’s well-organized opposition

<.....”More unrest this am all hell breaking loose (Turkey)....”

Have been watching this esculate for some time now....same when Egypt, Libya etc. rose...tracks are the same...these are not happening because the people are protesting...these are happening because there’s a push to “make” them happen.

Leaderships are “planting” people in nations from both sides....to rile up the nationals. Most countries do this in one form or another. Even Putin growls when this happens in his country.

But yes...Turkey situation will esculate...it’s suppose to.

Sick isn’t it, how leaders play the people!

Syrian rebels pledge loyalty to al-Qaeda

Mona Alami, Special for USA TODAY

BEIRUT — A Syrian rebel group's April pledge of allegiance to al-Qaeda's replacement for Osama bin Laden suggests that the terrorist group's influence is not waning and that it may take a greater role in the Western-backed fight to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad.
