Seven people were killed and at least 30 others were shot in violence that plagued Chicago over Father's Day weekend.
Six of the fatalities and 11 other shootings occurred overnight Saturday leading into Father's Day, including the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old boy.
On the Southwest Side, five people were shot, one fatally, in two shootings in the Little Village neighborhood.

I think it is beyond the time for the community organizer in chief to get out there and have some face time with this apparent criminal element. With his gift of gab, I am sure he can talk them into disarming. I also think it would be destructive to that message to have him ringed with secret service and police when he gives those speeches.

Now, it’s a free for all. Our Chief of Police is a flippin drunk without a clue.
I have no clue what they think the solution may be, I can only guarantee that tossing more money is not the answer, but alas, it’s what they’ll do in the end.

I have read no news out of Illinois about what is happening with guns there right now. Since the clock ran out without a gun law, can the people in the state buy guns and wear them in public?

Liberal logic, OK for gang bangers to have guns cause they are all victims, the rest of us can’t have guns because we don’t understand the struggles that gang bangers have gone through..notice all this garbage happens in liberal areas

That's what created the confusion on Father's Day in the first place!
This president so disgusts me. He and his worthless wife could have had such an influence on “their people” during his soon to be EIGHT YEAR tenure as our leader. They have done absolutely nothing for them .... they had every chance.
All she could do is advise them to eat their vegetables, for God’s sake.
But, no ...they’re too busy enjoying time on the golf course, time in Air Farce One, time with Beyoncé, time in the Hamptons, time posing for magazine covers, etc.
I hope to GOD the both of them punished beyond belief in the afterlife for such an opportunity squandered. I hope one day “their people” (and it’s odd, because he’s not even one of them), will wake up and realize what they could have done, but did not do.
They should be forced to stand in the ER and watch as the bodies come rolling in on a weekend.
