In my 30 year career in the Navy, it was my distinct honor to both teach, prepare for war, and serve with some of the best Hospital Corpsmen (And Corpswaves—before political correctness too over the NAVY) in the world!
BRAVO ZULU and Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!

You are very kind, and I thank you. My service to my nation was a privilege......Damned shame I could not say the same for service in the past several years....my heart aches for our men and women in harms way, knowing they have an idiot CinC, and sycophantic pukes in the JCOS........but...with that being said.....back to honoring our Corpsmen on their special day! :-)

It was, indeed my honor. (and Im delighted that it is GWBs signature on my retirement papers, instead of the recent freeloader in the white hut ;-)

It was likewise an honor for me to serve as a Platoon Corpsman in Kilo and Lima 3/5. Many brave men - some who are not with us - some who remain. God Bless them all!

For those now serving, I have nothing but the greatest respect. They augment a noble and honorable Tradition and serve, as you observed, in the face of egregious conduct on the part of the powers-that-be. All the more credit to them!

Thanks to those that risked their lives to help those in extreme need.

I remember going through my outprocessing physical at Charleston Naval Base many years ago...I was in between stops and had time to look at the "Wall of Fame".

I was stunned at the number of Navy Hospital Corpsmen who won the Medal of Honor - nearly all post-h...may they rest in peace.
