Sarah supported Mitt about like Texas voters supported Mitt. Because he was running against, and the only one who had a chance to defeat, Barack Obama. That’s how strongly Sarah felt against Obama. That’s how strongly Texas voters felt against Obama.

Another parallel between the views/actions of Sarah Palin and the views/actions of Texas voters:

Sarah supported Mitt Romney AND Ted Cruz. Texas voters supported Mitt Romney AND Ted Cruz.

Happily, enthusiastically supported Ted. Reluctantly supported Mitt. But supported both.

Walk, chew gum at the same time.

It was all done by people with pure motives. Trying to save us from an Obama despotic regime going on and on. Trying to get a top drawer conservative into the squishy Republican minority in the Senate. Same people, did both.

It doesn’t really matter what this poster you rail against said about Sarah. It’s fine to note it, but it doesn’t matter when searching for the truth. The truth is the truth. It actually happened. It’s clear. It isn’t muddied up. It’s out there. There’s pure-motive reason for it.

One has to twist it, and twist it, and twist it, to use it to some other purpose other than the pure truth, to mix it all up.

And to live off of a grudge against people who with pure motives supported both Mitt Romney and Ted Cruz.

While lauding Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz, yourself. While attacking the Romney voters but not the Cruz voters. When they were and are the same people.

Perhaps, Lord willing, one day you will accept the truth on this. But I daresay you won’t do so while here on FR, because you have a “histoire”, as Rush would say, to maintain and defend.

People voted for Romney out of fear. Period. Most of them now regret it.

Palin supported him much less than reluctantly. She was treated like a dog by every level of the GOP and their hardcore romneybot fanbase. Even considering the absolute minimum of backhanded support she gave, I have to think she regrets it too. She sure ain’t screaming it from the rooftops...now or then.

My history is one I stand behind. And as I read here daily, I see more and more people understanding that their mistaken support of the liberal helped move the GOP leftward at a lightning pace. Of course, there are still a few who try to claim that didn’t happen. However the Amnesty bill gives lie to that. Among MANY other things.

Here’s the thing. Do you plan on voting for the next open lib the GOP puts up? Because if you do, then why even claim conservatism? I can understand voting out of fear. Once. I also understand that the results are NEVER good. As we see.

But to make the same mistake again? Really?

Then people would deserve every bit of the hell they bring on themselves. Because now they should know better. And people making excuses for it should be ashamed of themselves.

The only way to retain pure motive in voting for Romney would have been to be ignorant of who he really was. No FR regular had the luxury of that excuse, but many rank and file Republicans did. And me? I could not vote for Romney, and would still not vote for Romney, because A) I have better reason than most, through indirect legal contact, to know he was pushing hardcore abortion policy *after* his alleged conversion on the issue, and because B) you can get me to vote for people of many different faiths in God, but you will never, ever get me to vote for someone who believes he is becoming God. It fits too precisely the template of Antichrist given by Paul. When the GOPe did that, they knew they were slicing off a segment of voters who by conscience and belief could never subscribe to their candidate. Their choice, and their loss.
