US President Barack Obama has said the road to a lasting peace in Northern Ireland is "as urgent now as it has ever been".
The president was addressing a gathering at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast, ahead of the G8 summit in County Fermanagh.
President Obama said there was "more to lose now" than before.

Watch Putin’s body language , and his feet. Putin seems to be restraining himself from planting a foot somewhere in Obama’s body. Obama is a cowering wimp in his body language, and cannot speak well without a teleprompter. This indicates a recipe for disaster in Syria if the US becomes involved.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Putin has a a very strong personal dislike of Obama. But as to history, there is no surprise that Communist Putin reviles Fascist Obama. Such men as Obama are Putin’s mortal enemies.
I do not for a moment think that Putin regards Obama as an American. Putin gets along with Americans just fine, even when disagreeing with them.
I hope that’s satire.
