While I am no fan of ODimwit, this has been going on for DECADES and went into full speed with the passage of the Patriot Act. We wanna unite as a Nation at least for this purpose? Then we need to call out all the tyrants, not just the one. And there are plenty of GOP tyrants to go around as well.

Amen! I’m tired of “Sorry, you’ll have to give up your freedom because there’s an angry bushy bearded man wearing a Popeye like hat that wants to blow you up. In fact millions of people that listen to off key prayer chanting broadcast over the speaker every day wants to blow you up.”

It would be wrong to stereotype such people or reduce the numbers we bring into the USA, so it’s best we just pay attention who you call, how you spend your money, and what you search for on search engines (as we will with all Americans). That is the best way to keep you safe.

Exactly! Dems are now defending programs they attacked when Bush did them, but the GOP is equally opportunistic -- they're now echoing the criticisms that were made ten years ago by the likes of Russell Feingold, the only Senator who voted against the PATRIOT Act. (Hint: He's not generally considered a conservative icon.)

When a Republican is back in the White House, everyone will switch sides again.
