As Congress debates an overhaul to the federal immigration system, New Jersey lawmakers again took up controversial legislation today that would allow students living in the country illegally to pay in-state tuition at the state’s public colleges.

The bill, dubbed the “Tuition Equality Act,” was approved by the state Assembly Budget Committee after a lengthy hearing in Trenton. The crowd in the chamber, which included immigrant students who have been pushing for the change for years, cheered as the committee moved the bill.

‘.. liberal democrat fantasy .. can do everything for everybody....’

‘everybody’ except those who support the AMERICAN system of government that follows our Constitution and Americans who work hard to make honest earnings and pay taxes. The current people in power are not so interested in doing anything ‘good’ for those people.

“NJ has turned into a toilet!”

Speaking as a New yorker, hasnt it always been? ;-)

Why do New Yorkers keep moving to NJ in droves ? Used to be that they were happy with just ruining Bergen, Hudson, Union and Middlesex. Now they are working overtime to ruin Somerset, Morris, Hunterdon and Monmouth counties too.

American students need to sue on the basis this is discrimination. In order to get the low in state rate, college students have to prove they have lived in state and illegals don’t.

Sometimes liberals leave me speechless. I cannot comprehend how it makes sense to charge someone from Mexico less than someone from New Mexico in a New Jersey college.

As a parent that pays out of state for 2 kids, this just burns me up. Out of state tuition is extremely high. They should not even be allowed to go to college here if they aren’t legal citizens.

Foreign students will need to burn their visas.

You can actually have two different rates applied to students in the same family, and Fur Shur no matter what they plan on doing it will discriminate AGAINST AMERICANS.

We need to disestablish New Jersey, reorganize it, and have them reapply for statehood.

It is assumed they will be required to purge themselves of the members of the Anti-American movement.

The overwhelming majority of people in prison or have been incarcerated at some time are democrats. By majority I mean probably 85-90% are/were democrats. This is very easy to prove.

nearly half are black - 95% voted Obama = 45%
nearly 30% are hispanic - 70% voted Obama = 20%
nearly 20% are white, asian, or some polyglot - figure 50% voted Obama = 10%

So, conservatively speaking, if cons/excons voted like their non-cons counterparts:
45 + 20 + 10 = 75% total cons/excons were/are dems

Throw in another 10% for a “shiftless, resentful, sociopath attitude and you come to 85% of cons/ex-cons voting for dems.

Yes, calling all dems criminals is a bit over the top, but it is not inaccurate to say that a super-majority of cons/excons are/were democrats.
