BOSTON (AP) — The deputy administrator of the main compensation fund for Boston Marathon bombing victims says it has received 247 claims so far.
The One Fund’s Camille Biros says a few more are expected to arrive over the next couple of days. Saturday was the deadline to mail or send a claim by courier service.
The fund announced Monday it has received $51 million in donations

I made my claim last week.
I was TOTALLY traumatized by watching the explosions on TV repeated over and over. I was also having trouble sleeping until they captured or killed those Evil Christian White Men responsible. I was frightened that the aforementioned terrorists would break into my house in Florida and hit me over the head with a pressure cooker. I was so suspicious that my own trusty and reliable pressure cooker was going to turn on me, I cut it into pieces with a Milwaukee Sawzall so that it could no longer taunt me. I called 911 every hour or so for days on end to get an update on whether these evil Christian White Men had been caught yet.
I was then equally traumatized when I found out that the evil Christian White Men turned out to be Muslim men between the ages of 18 and 45 years old. I just couldn't believe it!
I am owed this money. I have a Lexus payment due.
This number is actually feasible, and is probably verifiable given the video records.

I used to live around the corner from the incident. I’m sure if I was still living there, I would be owed *something* for my distress. It would only be fair.
