it is very much up in the air if the speaker and enough members in the house are stupid enough

Why do we automatically assume these guys are stupid, a more likely explanation is they complicit. The reason they choose to help the enemy is open for debate, but I don't attribute their behavior to stupidity, quite the contrary, they play us like a fiddle.

The stupidity involves the Republican caucus.

Did Pelosi tell her caucus that they could vote for Obamacare and still keep the House? If so her caucus was very stupid to believe her. The Dems may or may not have lost the House because of Obamacare, but it cannot be argued that it was Obamacare that contributed to the historic margins by which they lost.

If Amnesty passes the Republicans will lose the House.

Unlike what happened in 2010,the Republicans that voted against amnesty will pay the price more than the Republicans that voted for amnesty.

Any House Republican who believes that they can keep the House if Amnesty passes is just as stupid as House Democrats who believed that they could keep the House if Obamacare passed.
