Chicago district woes are created by the "students" and their parents. If you changed nothing else, same money, same buildings, same teachers but switched all the Chicago kids with Japanese kids do you think they would have all these problems. No way.

How much do you want to bet that the Chicago school district is one of the richest in the country, based on the number of dollars spent per student per year.
I don’t know what the amount is, but it seems that many of the worst school districts in the country spend way more per student than successful districts.
It has a lot to do with leftists running the cities and schools. The farther left, the greater the corruption.

The idea lasted about 5 seconds, because even then, the black establishment could not find the honesty to call a spade a spade. Bad behavior was not ever the responsibility of the behaver, but was caused by white racial discrimination; by prejudice. "Give us more money, and we'll fix it."
Well, they got the money, they got to be in charge of EVERY urban school system in the land, filling in many cases, every post from Janitor (a racket) to Superintendent (a bigger racket)and things got exponentially worse.
The responsibility of black schoolteachers is to teach. If the black children given in their charge are not learning, it is THEIR responsibility to fix it. Our problem. Their responsibility. It's why they are paid.
