I pay about $1.51 per dozen by buying them in a 20 pack for large, but like most things in California, you can pay a fortune if you want to go with organic, and brown, and so on, it is like the milk, I can buy at $2.50 and $2.79 per gallon, while seeing milk at $5.50 for a half gallon of organic milk.

Actually you can buy “free range” eggs for just a little more than the factory produced ones. They taste better.
