He’s not really talking about a labor shortage, he really seems to mean an entitlement shortage. In a couple decades, we won’t have enough taxable drones to pay for the gravy train, even at 100% employment.

Far too many kids go to college for some alleged better opportunity.

Look, you don’t need a college degree to be a barrista... hows that college thing working out for you. What this nation needs is for everyone to live within their means... no government loans for college which these Barristas will default on putting the taxpayer on the hook.

Get a real damned job. Pick fruit. I suggest peaches as then you might appreciate those that do pick fruit.

This nation, with its tremendous natural resources should be a powerhouse of manufacturing and industry... but no... we have decided to be a nation of insurance agenceys, hair and nail salons, Applebee’s and hospitals.

I keep seeing that scene in Trains Planes and Automobiles...

YOU ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY! YOU ARE GOING TO KILL SOMEBODY!!!

I guess big business needs a lot more low skill immigrant labor to fill all those part time jobs Obamacare is creating. New immigrants are the only ones that haven’t figured out that they can make more on welfare than they can working. They ambitious ones haven’t figured out that the deck is stacked against them and that rules and regulations established by unelected bureaucrats prevent them from starting a business of their own and competing with the establishment.

What bargaining chip is being used to make “Conservatives” fall in line?

Ryan's not even a conservative with quotation marks. He's a Democrat In All But Label Only.....DIABLO. Just like his pal, Rubio. Those two have joined McCain and Graham's RINO traitor club.

I'm beginning to believe that they were eager to sign up.

You couldn't be more correct. The nation and its national identity are being sold.

I have despised this guy for years. Remember his "Medicare" plan? The $5,000 voucher that would start 15 years from now?

People who have private insurance NOW and are 64 years old are already paying three times that amount for a policy..it will be $30,000 by then if current trends continue. Who has planned their retirement to include an extra $50,000 per year for health insurance for a couple? He isn't a stupid person, so I concluded two things:

1. He was on the take (Open Secrets from that election cycle confirmed that..HUGE health insurance/medical co. contributions).

2. They are scheming to bankrupt the Middle Class. We have too many assets (particularly real estate, including ag real estate)...it pisses them off.

They are attacking decent & responsible citizens on all fronts.

I agree. The temptations of power can change a person.

Dear Congressman Ryan, the government can't predict what's going to happen next month and you're putting the priority on government predictions of what's going to happen in the next 20 years? How dumb can you be?

You've identified the big problem for America, that's so big, we have to transform the country into a Third World hellhole and that problem is a labor shortage? Labor participation is the lowest in decades. ObamaCare and other regulations haven't even begun to kick in to destroy jobs and the economy. And YOU see that the BIG problem is a labor shortage?

Can you say 'delusional'?

Oops, I forgot a couple of things. The "immigrants" legalized and encouraged to come in to this country are to the most part, illiterate peasants. And you think they are going to be the basis of a growing economy? They are going to bring in tax revenues to the government?

You've been spending too much time around the elitists in the Romney campaign. You are clueless.

I wonder if Obama has plans in place for forced labor camps yet
