Well, that would only have added about 70 million tax payers.
If one ponders it for a moment, it becomes apparent that the desire of monied interests for cheap labor to undercut the indigenous population is responsible for the largest mass settlements in history. Virtually everyone in South America except scattered indigenous tribes, are descendents of someone who either cut sugar cane, or someone who owned them.
Hey Ryan, fix the employment problem we have now. After you’ve done that, let us know when we start experiencing labor shortages and then we can discussing allowing more immigrants in.
My son is working in the fields this summer picking alongside the illegal aliens. He says he can’t understand what is so hard about it. Why can’t these welfare recipients go out and do some of it. And this out of the mouth of a High schooler from a middle class family.

One thing no one really talks about is that there are many people in this country that are unable to HOLD
a job for any length of time due to not being all that bright and never having developed what many of us consider
to be a work ethic.
In Kalifornia, it hovers at the 17% mark. Which makes Ryan’s comment so ridiculous.
