President Obama is preparing regulations limiting carbon dioxide emissions from existing power plants, senior officials said Wednesday. The move would be the most consequential climate policy step he could take and one likely to provoke legal challenges from Republicans and some industries.
Electric power plants are the largest single source of global warming pollution in the country, responsible for nearly 40 percent of greenhouse gas emissions. With sweeping climate legislation effectively dead in Congress, the decision on existing power plants — which a 2007 Supreme Court decision gave to the executive branch — has been among the most closely watched of Mr. Obama’s second term.
The administration has already begun steps to restrict climate-altering emissions from any newly built power plants, but imposing carbon standards on the existing utility fleet would be vastly more costly and contentious.
The president is preparing to move soon because rules as complex as those applying to power plants can take years to complete. Experts say that if Mr. Obama hopes to have a new set of greenhouse gas standards for utilities in place before he leaves office he needs to begin before the end of this year.

One of the most amusing (but alarming) ironies is that the Greenies are pushing electric cars while simultaneously forcing the cost of electricity to unbelievable highs. My electric bill has more than doubled in the past three years and I’m told that’s just the beginning.
Did you ever get the idea this isn’t about anything other than cash flow out of our pockets into theirs... and where they want to “wash it”.

These businesses could fight this IF they were willing enough to do so by REFUSING to pay the extra money, then refusign to pay the fines- but htey would ALL have to do so as one to be effective- they coudl also threaten to withhold their federal tax dollars claimign that the person they hired is NOT doign hte job he was HIRED/elected to do, and has isnteasd turned his aggressiosn o nthe peopel and busiensses with NO reason for doign so-

In all honesty...we set ourselves up...when we turned our back on God...and the evidence is in.
We now accept all manner of sexual perversion....We take the life of the unborn children among us and call it a “right”. .....homosexuality and all manner of deviate practices are being taught to our children while we kicked God out of our schools....we’ve allowed every pagan religion to practice in this once Christian nation which God gave us to Honor Him “Only”. Not to mention that “truth” is no longer being allowed to be heard.

I’ve thought that since I was about 16 years old. Woodstock was my wake up notice.
God is now saying that “You no longer want me, go fend for yourselves.”
Maybe the answer is for all of us to ‘move’ to the West coast and push all the democrates into the sea?.... Leave the New England states for all the perverts to live in colonies, along with the prison systems.
