The rest of the cities are:
6. Stockton, CA
7. Birmingham, AL
8. New Haven, CT
9. Baltimore, MD
10. Cleveland, OH

Makes me wonder where Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, and Houston, TX are? It must be something about the way crime stats are reported.

No wonder the Cleveland Indians had to slash ticket and concession prices to get people into the ballpark.

Some statistics count the whole metro area, others just the city limits.

Atlanta’s population within the city limits has ranged between 400K and 500K since as far back as 1960.

Include the inner suburbs and that number has risen from 800K to 1.5M since 1960.

Add the “Urbanized area (area of continuous development” and that has increase from an additional 330K to 2.6M, giving a total of over 4 Million.

Crimes per 100K, based on City Limits, are horrendous. If you switch to the “Urbanized Area”, the rate drops considerably.

Guess which one the City Fathers want to use?
