58 votes doesn’t seem that bad compared to the way it is being portrayed as a slam dunk.
Begich and Landrieu are not bellweathers. Begich has said months ago the Alaska delegation is united for amnesty because Alaska is committed to diversity. Even Don Young I guess. Which is ironic because Don Young has had a good record against amnesty. Landrieu is an idiot who sides with McCain against Vitter. Vitter got 56% last time he ran in a midterm against illegal immigration.
Our immigration problem is that people come here illegally. So making these people US citizens fixes the problem of people coming here illegally?

I honestly think there’s a dirty little secret. I think they have been legalizing them.
I remember them claiming 1 million, but we all know it becamse 3.5 million by 1990 or so.
If we grant amnesty today (under whatever name and description), there will be 20 to 35 million people sign up.

The NSA and IRS are criminal enterprises under Obama, and Obama alone.

Pryor would do better amongst Black voters if he voted for a gun control measure that will fail both houses, than an amnesty that could get forced through.
