These old time recipes look interesting. My grandma used to make the puff pancakes.

I just became a homeowner, and already I hate mowing the lawn.

I’m going to look into one of those robotic lawn mowers.

Yeah! Everytime I think about getting a new house I remember how much a pain mowing the yard was! Our old place did have steep terraces and uneven ground so that turned me against mowing. If we get a new place it has to be small and level yard.

We have a hilly piece of property. Too hilly for a rider mover. We got a Troy-bilt push mower. Actually, it requires very little pushing. I pretty much just guide it. Three speeds: Fast, faster and ‘hold on’! Makes it much easier to mow.

I’m going to make that sawmill gravy when I get up later today. If I have some leftover chicken that needs to be used I might do the dumplings and make a soup for dinner.

My yard is pretty flat, except for a small slightly sloped bank in the front, so I shouldn’t complain.

But BF talked me into getting a non-self-propelled mower, so it’s a bit of an effort to push sometimes. And guess who has to do the pushing?

“LOL Christie, yous gotta be kiddin’ !!!”

I said Roves choices-—not mine. Neither has a problem screwing true conservatives.

Yoi, is FR ever slow for me (using cell) this morning!

That Dumpling recipe is how I make dumplings—I (we) LOVE dough balls here:)

Any of Yinz listen to Jim’s segment on Flight 800? Oh my, anxiously awaiting the release of the movie in July!

I’m 58 with deteriorating knees. A small, flat piece of property is looking more enticing every day!

Where did he say the movie would be released? Sounds like some sort of website.

Slow here too now that I’m on my tablet. Yes, Jim was right all along about flight 800! Years ago he was ranting about a cover up.

There was a story being floated this morning....I didn’t bother to read it...about how the new developments and the film are old news and have been debunked. The government wants this shut down fast. Move along. Nothing to see here!

Oh, I pray he’s not. He’s about “it” for me. No Bush, no Christie, not even Ryan (he’s become a disappointment!). Possibly (and I mean possibly) I could support Rand Paul. But I believe Ted Cruz is who is needed (w/a possibly VEEP of newly elected—takes the Rubio seat—Sen Allen West of FL).

July 17 (anniversary of the event).

And best wishes in the new home—(and boo hiss on the BF who talked you out of self propelled mower). Used to have one (back when I did grass—when kids were little). Then we we t thru a succession of cheapie mowers (kids cut grass). Now “baby” is 16 and my years of having indentured servants are dwindling. My future solution? “For sale by owner”

Yes! He has been on top of it since it happened. I vividly remember the “cooking the Sanders breakfast story” like I was there too.

Was very disappointed to hear about the Common Core and Catholic education. Don’t know how my grandbaby will be schooled out in CO (probably, knowing s-i-l, it will be public school). I was surprised to learn that our area’s Catholic HS “runs out of math” at Calc 1. No Physics; no Calc 2 (or Electricity & Magnetism). From one of Pinochle buddies their grads who opt for engineering in college have had to take remedial classes to “catch up.” That is just not right for tuition amts paid. I have always had some guilt about lg family and having no other financial option but public school, but now I’m learning negatives (like easy sway towards Common Core, lack of higher maths) over there too.

Cruz/West would be my dream team. I like the way you think!
