The immigration legislation moving quickly toward a full Senate vote triggered a stand-off Thursday between competing wings of the Republican Party, as conservative members accused their colleagues of greasing the wheels for passage with a "fig leaf" that only claims to address border security.

The only way to deal with this is to prevent it from even reaching the house floor till after we control the senate.

Right now it doesn’t matter what they pass inn the senate or the house because the senate will simply rewrite it in the senate committee.

Why not just open U.S. Voting Booths in Mexico, so the Democrats can get the votes there and we don’t have to have the Illegals crossing the Border?<PWe would save a lot of money by just letting them vote in Foreign Countries in U.S. Elections, because that’s effectively what Amnesty is for.

"prevent it from even reaching the house floor till after we control the senate."

This is a /sarc post, right?

There's NO WAY that Dem's will lose any future Elections for DECADES (as long as the Taxpayer money and borrowed money are still flowing for Obamaphones, EBT's, EITC, Obamacare, etc.).

Once Amnesty is passed in the next couple of weeks, it's over for Conservative Candidates.

That’s why it needs to die without a vote in the house.

Yours is a good idea, but we would also have to send the food stamps and Welfare, social security checks there too.

We need to delay this vote. If we can delay it long enough, opposition will build and it will be defeated. The dems learned from the post sandy hook gun fail, if they wait too long, they lose.

In any event, this feels like a rear guard action. We are losing and retreating all the time. We have to go on the offensive soon or we will be crippled as a political movement.
We have good foot soldiers. We just don’t have any good Generals at the moment.

The RINO wing are not Republicans, they are turncoats.

This Amnesty will haunt us until the next one, and there will have to be another one.

You’re correct. Don’t quit, fight. I’m burning up the phones. Rubio’s lines are busy or his mailbox is full. That is good news. I’m under no false illusions. However, I intend to make my voice heard and use my votes wisely. Here is something I found recently - Rubio’s Fake conservative PACemail address:

info@reclaimamericapac.com

I’ve been having fun telling them what I think about his new friendhip with Schumer and his immigration sellout. Lets Jam up all of the RINO Senators beloved PACs. Let them hear it.

Why don't the Democrats open up tax-paid US Voting Booths in Mexico to get their votes. Then Americans don’t have to finance a $20 billion fence and witness the spectacle of illegals climbing over w/ those ugly backpacks....

Great idea. The DNC could open a cantina---call it "Reconquista" --- to make the Mexicans feel at home.

Compassionate Dems could giveaway tax-paid tequila shots, Taco Bell burrito coupons...... and provide stacks of food stamp/welfare/EITC/voter registration forms to one and all.

Ay carumba---Mexicans can live a life of leisure sucking off American taxpayers without ever leaving their haciendas.

What makes those dumbass GOPers think that the dems will actually allow border security will actually occur, when all Harry Reid has to do in the next FY is refuse to allow onto the Senate floor a budget agreement that funds these added enhancements?

Laws are already in place from the 1986 and 2002 laws that stipulated added security.

Maybe the USA could take a “lesson” from Israel who in the last couple of years built a “security wall” on its borders.

Then its over period.

Well, we concentrate on those winnable elections that remain in the Senate, along with those in the House and the governorships. Impact can still be made at those levels, though diminished. I'd love to believe the White House and Senate were within reach, but unfortunately the dark side has the numbers and we don't.
