BOSTON (CBS) – Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will be charged in connection with the shooting death of a 27-year-old Dorchester man, a law enforcement source told WBZ NewsRadio 1030 on Friday.

Isn’t it strange that he’s not described as a “contoversial” player, because of his college behavior, which dropped him to the fourth round in his draft year, in contrast to the “contoversial,” Tim Tebow.

Then all of a sudden when he’s getting arrested we hear about him shooting a buddy in the face this year and that he “may” have been involved in a murder in college. That never seemed to come up when the Patriots were playing on Monday Night Football.

That leaves five experienced tight ends on the roster ahead of Tebow and we've witnessed Tebow attempting to run a route. So sure, Belichick is going to take someone who has never played the position and use him to replace an all pro. Makes perfect sense.
