BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Thousands of Shi'ite Muslims from Iraq and beyond will take up arms against Sunni al Qaeda "savages" in Syria if fellow Shi'ites or their shrines come under attack again, a powerful minister in Iraq's Shi'ite-led government said.

A few excerpts......

Amiri, Iraq's transport minister, is head of the Badr Organisation, a political movement which arose from a heavily-armed Iran-trained militia and many of whose members are now part of Iraq's security forces.

Amiri's Badr Brigades militiamen fought on Iran's side in the 1980-88 war against Iraq Sunni dictator Saddam Hussein's government. The militia came to dominate much of southern Iraq after the U.S.-led invasion in 2003 toppled Saddam, and during the sectarian fighting that followed.

After the last general elections in 2010, Amiri shifted his loyalties to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, leader of the rival Shi'ite Daawa Party.

While it is unclear to what extent he is reflecting the views of the Maliki government......

Really? Is it?

I would love to see the worst radicals continue flowing to Syria, where Assad can continue making the world a better place.

We are on the verge of major vermin reduction in that part of the world, with two bloodthirsty factions of muslims ready for another round of "offing" one another.

But this time around, we don't have to worry about the impact on our own national interests in terms of energy - IF ONLY we would accelerate the development of our own newly discovered resources and become self sufficient in this regard. It's in our grasp.

As such, we could and absolutely should leave these bloodthirsty savages to their own part of the world, let them wipe huge numbers of each other out, and STAY OUT OF IT!! With our own potential energy reserves at home, this welcome fight is NOT in our national interest to get involved in, but IS in our national interest to stay out of and let happen because it diverts the attention and numbers of our current declared enemies in the world - wild-eyed, radical islamists.

Syria certainly seems to be the focus now for all the prophet’s children. From Egypt to Libya to Iraq, they can’t wait to express some Arab spring love.

<...”I would love to see the worst radicals continue flowing to Syria, where Assad can continue making the world a better place”....>

The International Powers will not let it get that far before stepping in and stopping Assad. There’s a lot of money being floated to countries now...

The only reason Egypt pulled out of Syria is the loss of ‘BILLIONS” promised from the Arab Countries, and the IMF etc.... Morsi wants use of those revenues to establish the Muslim Brotherhood Agenda in the entire M.E. So he’ll sit out involvement in Syria until he’s set financially with those Revenues.

Damascus isn’t going to survive the onslaught should the Islamists increase in Syria....the Int’l Powers know Assad isn’t going to yield...He has sated so and all evidence’s he means business. So it’s just a matter of when, not if, they’ll stop this.

We’re seeing the ‘alignment of nations’....Saddam was the first to go..then all those who followed who were not on board with the Global Agenda....nothing to do with any Arab Spring...it’s about taking out dictators who refuse to co-operate with their agenda.....now it’s Syria’s turn...and Putin won’t be taking this laying down any time soon He will respond.

I see it a different way. There are three forces in this world. Communism, radical Islam and human liberty. Eventually one will be destroyed and the other two will fight for domination.

Both radical Islam and communism need to take down the US, then Israel and the rest falls into place. Obama is the key to both, which is why he is President. It also explains his actions since he became President.

So here we have two of the worlds most powerful Armies on opposite sides and in the middle we have every terrorist organization in the mid east converging on Syria.

I say change the calculus. The US and Russia should take down every terrorist organization on the globe in one shot and instead of Communist vs Radical Islam in the final war, it goes back to East vs West and detente.

Human liberty will fall regardless...

Putin uses the Islamic nations and will continue to do so to his advantage..and this to his demise when all is said and done.

Additionally China will come into play on the war map....in time. They nor Putin will not go out peacefully. They have their agenda of how things will run.

When all is said and done their will be Global Governance....and all nations will yield to it.

And yes, the USA will be too weak to do much about it...outside using us for NWO Military Security on the World Stage to keep nations in line. But under the control of the NWO Powers that be then.

The US and Russia have mighty armies and global reach, but either can only prevail against third-world countries if they are allowed to fight a war the only way wars should be fought. Go in fast and hard with overwhelming force and kill people and break things until no problem is left. Then leave and come home.

Both the US and Russia should have learned by now that drawn-out, politically-correct semi-wars don't work so well. Either go in there to smash hell out of the enemy (and first you have to name the enemy), or don't go at all.

Muslims killing Muslims. Downside?

The Iran-Iraq War lightened the load, but didn't draw in other Muslims. Lately, they are happy to travel to the fighting.

Syria is a great place to host for the next few years, but the Iranians will have a hard time with the commute, and I doubt the Paki’s are interested.

If we could manage to fire off an Iranian-Paki war, that would be just the ticket.

That’s why we need to count on Putin. He will defend American interests when they correspond with Russian interests, which is a whole lot more often than Obama will defend our interests. Putin is a real man, and everyone knows it. Obama and his allies will hesitate to cross Putin, while foreign leaders oppose Obama for entertainment.
