If there is any truth to this report, it must be that people are taking part-time employment, even two part-time jobs because there is nothing else.

Is part-time employment considered “employment”?

Yes, it is counted as a job, same as a full time job.
Two part time jobs is counted as two jobs.

And as more "29ers" are created every day to avoid paying Obamacare benefits, the statistical unemployment ranks will fall.

My neighbor is a geologist and has been out of steady work for several years. He just got a job at Lowe’s. His wife also took a part time job.
