Harris-Perry: Boehner 'Super-Villian', Pelosi 'One Of History's Most Effective'

On her MSNBC show this morning, Melissa Harris-Perry vilified John Boehner as a "super-villian," a "bad guy" and "pitiful." His sin? Failing to pass the farm bill.

So who is MH-P's idea of a good Speaker? Why, Nancy Pelosi, of course. Harris-Perry praised Pelosi as "one of the most effective leaders in the House's history." So effective that, as a result of her disastrous leadership, Pelosi's Dem House caucus went down to crushing electoral defeat in 2010.

What next, is MSNBC going to photoshop a scar onto his face and a white cat onto his lap? Dress him in a purple cowl and robes? Return the favor of the Obama-as-Joker posters we’ve been using?

That has to be one of the silliest characterizations of a politician on either side of the aisle, by anyone anywhere on the political spectrum, I’ve ever heard.

After watching Boehner attack the actual conservatives in the party, I am finding it hard to tell the difference between the two.

If it wasn’t for the conservatives, I think Boehner might share his leadership with Pelosi. You know, odd days he holds the gavel and on even days she manages the House.

I tied to watch her for a few minutes this morning, but anything she said just reminded me of Sylvester, and I couldn't think of anything else. She's not exactly a deep thinker, and then I realized she's yet another example of someone educated far beyond their intelligence - I believe that she's a "college professor."
