Obama might not realize it, but he has to obey the laws of physics. Green enrergy such as solar and wind are simply not dense enough to power a modern industrial culture. They are niche suppliers at best. During his five years in power he has done absolutely nothing to promote nuclear energy despite his rhetoric. Nuclear is the only rational alternative to carbon sources. He has done all he could to stall carbon based energy projects through endless regulations. This has actually put a huge crimp on the economy. If he is intending to further halt oil and gas development,and coal use he should be honest with the American people and tell them they face more unemployment and a lower standard of living. Doubt he will be honest.
