I thought the death penalty was passé among our elite leaders.
Many liberal states — and doofus liberal Republicans — are repealing the death penalty. They say that there is always a one in a million chance the executed person might actually be innocent. DNA evidence might surface 85 years later exonerating the defendant.
If a guy slaughters a man’s wife or a schoolyard full of kids, let’s give him shelter, three square meals a day and top-notch medical care until he dies of old age.
