Fair enough. However running
off to China and Russia does not
look good. What do we really
know? What information is he passing
on? This really concerns me.
China and Russia are not helping
him out of the goodness of their hearts.
They want something out of this.
I am not calling him a traitor, but
I am not calling him a patriot either.
He needs to go someplace that is big enough to not be muscled into turning him over to US Authorities.
That rather limits his options.
You are not alone in your concerns....
Twittchy comments coming in....:
...”Any conflicted feelings among Snowden fans that hes doing a propaganda favor here for more intrusive/repressive regimes than U.S.?”

...”So Edward Snowden has now fled to Russia? Didn’t he say stuff about not wanting to live in a country that spied on its own? Still a hero?”

Left Hong Kong by way of Moscow. There are reports that he will next head to Cuba and then Venezuela. .....What a grand tour of U.S. adversaries, huh?

Hmm, indeed.....Glenn Greenwald is bitterly clinging to hero status.
@moelane ......Well, two things are clear. (1) Snowdens crisis of conscience about oppressive govt doesnt extend to other countries
And in a snark nutshell:
Looks like #Snowden is playing Communist country pinball. #NSA
Whether he released the information out of (misguided) patriotism or treason, right now he is neither a patriot nor a traitor, he is a desperate rat looking for a better corner.
