Cuba-bound flight departs Moscow - airline rep says fugitive NSA leaker Snowden not seen on board

From ASSOCIATED PRESS Last Updated: 7:55 AM, June 24, 2013 Posted: 7:11 AM, June 24, 2013

MOSCOW — A plane took off from Moscow Monday headed for Cuba, but the seat booked by National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden was empty, and there was no sign of him elsewhere on board.

An Aeroflot representative who wouldn't give her name told The Associated Press that Snowden wasn't on flight SU150 to Havana. AP reporters on the flight couldn't him.

The Interfax news agency also quoted an unidentified Russian security source in Moscow as saying that Snowden wasn't on the plane.

The airline said earlier Snowden registered for the flight using his US passport, which American officials say has been annulled.

A flight attendant said Snowden was not on the plane, and the seat he had been expected to occupy was taken by another passenger, Reuters reported. A source at Russian carrier Aeroflot, which was operating the flight, said: "He didn't take the flight."

Sounds like our intelligence isn't so good!! I heard 30 reporters bought tickets.

Too funny....They're all in the wrong place at the wrong time.

So where is Snowden?? Probably having lunch with Putin.

I'm sure we will hear from Russia...."live"....soon.

This is like watching a re-run of "White Night"....American Style. And Russia is the choreographer!! Russia will grant him permanent asylum.

No doubt there were 50 “journalists” on board, to watch the empty seat.

Black curly wig, breast implants, nose job, eye job, cheek job, ear job, rump implant...at least that’s what I’d do.

Anyone with intelligence information valuable to the Russians, who truly intended to use Moscow as a stop on their journey to some other place is an idiot. For people with intelligence information and no high level protection, Moscow is a Roach Motel.

"No doubt there were 50 “journalists” on board, to watch the empty seat."

The flight is more than 12 hours long and no alcohol is served. Maybe a few journalists will sober up for once?

Remember what Sarah Palin did to these media idiots? They had no idea where she was. Most of ‘em couldn’t find their own a$$ with both hands........They think they’re so freakin’ smart.

Heck, Aeroflot could’ve put him up front in one of the control cabin jump seats. The idiot reporters would never know.

I would have to agree that as he continues on his “America’s Enemies World Tour” Snowden has undercut whatever legitimacy he may have had as a whistleblower.

Should reach Havana by next week, setting frequencies and schedules, along with the nets as he passes South of Key West.
