obama is stuck. can’t blow the place to pieces with a drone, he can’t get the TelePrompTer in there in time to give a big speech, and he can’t vote “present”.

He’s all out of options.

Interesting what fanatics will do when given an opportunity.

Seems like the domestic enemy within is allied with foreign muslims looking to reestablish a caliphate in Damascus.

Sounds like treason and a waste of American troops lives is in progress.

Is this Kabul ‘13 or Tet ‘68?

It is remarkable - and sad - how much Afghanistan today is like Vietnam then.

And it will end the same way. The US will declare a face-saving "victory", and pull out. The insurgents will then overrun the demoralized government forces. Then we'll see helicopters taking off from the embassy rooftop again.

It's almost unbearably sad.

The White House has released a statement insisting that they found out about the attack on television, like everyone else.

Further proof that unless they are spying on Americans, the NSA can’t find their own butt with both hands.

The bbc is reporting that the Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.

BO has another dilemma but AF One will still fly off for the African vacation tomorrow after he taxes us on energy use.

I think it’s further proof that *because* the NSA is so obsessed with spying on Americans, they can’t deflect threats overseas anymore.

They’re too busy building the world’s largest data repository of Youtube cat videos.

Hang around. Zero is doing everything possible to make our exit from Afghanistan look like Saigon '75.

US personnel from “a nearby CIA station” are involved in the firefight.

Oh I get it. We can send people to backup a corrupt mooslime POS but we won't send anyone to help our own ambassador.

I am amazed that I am still amazed by the utter corruption, incompetence and malfeasance of this govt.

Regular NVA divisions backed by tanks, artillery and MiG's overran Saigon, not Vietcong insurgents, who were wiped out during the Tet Offensive back in 1968.

O has been undercutting Karzai since he took office.

Tonight’s attack, with us negotiating with the Talibs behind his back, will let Karzai know he must to see to his own survival.

He has known that since soon after O took office, but this will give it an exclamation point.

O is knocking over governments all over the middle east and replacing them with Muslim Brotherhood, and using Al Qaeda gunmen to do the dirty work. He is in the process of handing Afghanistan over to the Talibs. This shouldn’t be that difficult to figure out. I think Karzai figured it out a long time ago.

Yup, Hiroshima ended up the same way....all attackers dead of course there was no city left either.

I think Barry should hop onto his yak and head over there and sit down and eat a little goat with these guys and talk out their problems one on one. They would probably even let him bring his teleprompter.

He has not yet quite gotten the full hitler thing down yet as he does not flail his arms about while giving one of his speeches....he does point and make this idiotic pointing upward of a finger like an exclamation point to highlight some point in one of his meandering diatrobes. When he gets to the full flailing of the arms level, perhaps then, someone will recognize this guy is Hitler II.
