Yesterday, House Democrats managed to get several news outlets to report that “progressive” groups had been targeted by the IRS in much the same way as Tea Party groups. The more accurate reports merely mention that a certain type of “progressive” group applications was mentioned on IRS “be on the lookout lists.”
But if progressive advocacy groups were given the third degree, then you might ask why none of them have come forward. Possibly because the documents in question do not actually say they were systematically targeted.

from recent posts here, there was one liberal group that got targeted under the conservative lynch standards they were using, not because they were liberal, but because their name sounded conservative.

That was “Clean Elections Texas”. They wanted government to pay all the bills for all candidates. No stated interest in reducing voting fraud.
Impossible. Skeletor over at CNN says progressives are much put upon by the progressive president.
Just like "Timothy McVey" is absurdly trotted out as a non-muslim "terrorist" to "balance out the tens of thousands of koranimal atrocities worldwide.
What a stupid move, to double down on egregiously serious unconstitutional crimes!
WHY would those targeting the right for intimidation and delay NOT just as well target the left for expediting and rubber stamping of approvals?
Oh, it’s so easy to figure this one out.
The IRS filters for groups they don’t like (”Tea Party” and “Conservative”) and for the groups the administration does like (”Progressive” and “Liberal”) with a “watch list.”
From there they fast-tracked the left-leaning groups for approval and sat on or harassed the right-leaning ones.
They “targeted” progressive groups for fast-tracking.
The only way the IRS would target progressive groups would be if they were tagged to ‘rush through the process’...
Think what it would be like if the right had done 10,000 terrorists acts and Muslims had done one... do you think it would be treated the same? I'm telling you - democrats are totalitarian jerks and liars... and the press plays so stupid to it all that their credibility is gone. The FBI needs to put up or shut up... I'm waiting to see the tens of thousands of 'right wing' terrorists in the last 20 years... that would be NONE...
