“The guy is a KGB tyrant pining for the old USSR.”

Besides screaming that Putin is “pining for the old USSR,” you haven’t offered a sliver of proof.

You’ve completely ignored the Soros/Hillary connection, which makes me question where your loyalty lies.

“Litvinenko turned Muzzie before he croaked.”

Now that is interesting but not unexpected from a Soros monkey.

Got a link? Thanks.

Care to elaborate on your position in regards to this?

sure
they linda tripped him, meaning when linda trip made recordings of Lewinsky talking about bill clinton, instead of the media reporting on what she said about Clinton, they made the issue that linda trip was a sneak for recording her friend.
in this case, they are making snowden the issue, not nsa spying, as you said.

ps...doesn’t bill Clintons failings seem quaint, now, in comparison?

He's on record saying the fall of the Soviet Union was the worst possible thing for Russia. The guy arms our enemies, including the Iranians, whose arms will no doubt get into the hands of the Chechnyans, so clearly he doesn't even care about the safety of his own people.

My loyalties don't lie with Putin, who wants to return Russia to the old Soviet Empire. Why all this love for Putin. He is no Christian. He only wanted the support of the Russian Church to better consolidate his power. He jails those businessmen who get too powerful, he unilaterally shuts down foreign mining operations, threatens Georgia, arms our enemies, ect....

I’ve studied that quote in context, he doesn’t regret the fall of the Soviet Union, what he lamented is the way it was handled. And he has some legitimate points there. Here is another Putin quote:

“Russia has made its choice in favor of democracy. Fourteen years ago, independently, without any pressure from outside, it made that decision in the interests of itself and interests of its people — of its citizens. This is our final choice, and we have no way back. There can be no return to what we used to have before. And the guarantee for this is the choice of the Russian people, themselves. No, guarantees from outside cannot be provided. This is impossible. It would be impossible for Russia today. Any kind of turn towards totalitarianism for Russia would be impossible, due to the condition of the Russian society.”

You actually think Putin is a Democrat? Then why when Paan American Silver had a mine in Russia did he turn the property over to the lowest bidder, a personal friend of Putin? Why does he object to capitalism and is turning Russia back 20 years on its reform? Why is he nationalizing Russian industry once more? And why is it, unlike Nazi Germany, has Russia never removed its vestiges of Communism that still stand out throughout the nation? He even threatened Estonia when they wanted to pull down a statue of Lenin.

I don’t hold Russia to the same standards as the US...I do believe his rule is much more benign than that of the former Soviet Union.

You realize Poland still has many vestiges of their former Communist rule in place, years after the triumph of Solidarity.

It will take at least another generation for Russia to make a complete transition from 70+ years of Bolshevik rule.
