As of March of this year, 47.7 million Americans are now on some form of food stamps. Between 2000 and 2012, the number of Americans resorting to food stamps increased more than 171%. In 2000, there were just 17.1 million Americans on food stamps. (Source: U.S. Department of Agriculture, June 7, 2013.) There are more individuals on food stamps in the U.S. economy than the entire population of Spain46.17 million. (Source: World Bank web site, last accessed June 21, 2013.) That costs the government money. The expenditure for food stamps in 2012 was $74.6 billion, almost 116% higher than what it paid in 2008. Thats a cost that could pick up even more speed if, as all indicators show, inflation begins to rise. The key stock indices in the U.S. economy have skyrocketed since the Great Recession, due in large part to money printing, but the average American Joe hasnt seen his living conditions improvein fact, they have actually deteriorated.

Now that’s what I call “historical”. Barry Soetoro is a “history” making fool!
The black Mao has done his job well.
Others with incomes from government waste are seeing to it that the number of people on food stamps will decrease soon enough. Before long, such constituent groups will be fighting more with each other over the streaming, recirculating pile of debt.
Barry and his America Circling the Drain agenda...
What recovery?
It depends upon how you define “recovery:
It’s working exactly as they planned it.
At least until the markets start rejecting the Baraqqi/Bernanke Bogus Bucks that pay for all this.
Some rumblings in the markets currently make me wonder if that day is closer than I thought....
LOL thanks
Increase of Ripple sales to ensue.
Add the following consequences of barrynomics (AKA obamanomics):
While politicians, big business and big finance have seen record profits — Main Street has seen:
record debt increases,
anemic growth rate,
wage stagnation,
increased income inequality,
long term unemployment at decade high levels,
poverty at decade high levels,
food stamps at record levels,
welfare recipients at record levels,
surging education costs,
surging energy costs,
surging food costs,
high wage jobs replaced with low wage jobs,
increase in Americans rejecting citizenship,
local and state govt. cutting jobs and services,
the list goes on and on.......
But who cares, big business, big finance and politicians are doing fine.
This clown obama is an incompetent fool — IMHO, I don’t believe he is corrupt or evil — he is just a butt stupid, privileged talking head who is clueless without a teleprompter.
Seriously, we knew this from Day 1, unfortunately, we are peopled by a nation of idiots who have been utterly brainwashed by progressive pop culture, leftwing academia and main stream media — meaning that any idiot like obama, hillary, pelosi et al can get elected if they have progressive special interests in pop culture, academia and main stream media carrying their water.
I was following #SNAPchallenge for a few days and I was very amused at the comments. One congress critter posted a pic of a $4 breakfast: one boiled egg, one piece of dry toast, and one cup of black coffee. He (can’t remember the name) lamented that he could not afford jelly or coffee creamer! He was getting flamed quite well by the right.
Out of curiosity I researched what my families bennies would be, and we could receive $497/ month from SNAP if I quit my job. When baby #3 gets here in a few weeks that would go up, plus I could get free formula instead of nursing like I plan to do ( more on that in a minute). Now $500/month is already my grocery budget, and that includes dipes, wipes, tp, razors, etc. With SNAP I would get to blow the whole $497 on just food. Hello lobster and filet mignon! We would be eating like kings! I should mention that we have a huge garden and we cook and bake a lot, so the items I purchase are usually organic and higher end food items to begin with. Amazingly I make it all work for the four of us on $120/week.
Now on to the previously mentioned formula issue. I don’t use formula. I think it’s crap. If you disagree good for you, but I think God created the perfect system. The fact that it’s free doesn’t hurt either. If I quit my job and went on SNAP the baby would get formula coupons. I could sell those coupons for cash, or use them to purchase the formula and then eBay it. Talk about living off of the government tit!
I would like to see the number on welfare double each month for the next six months. The only way to stop the political whores and sluts of all three sexes in Congress from spending is to bankrupt them.
