Last week, some kid tried to break into my car. It was 2 in the morning. My wife woke up to get a drink, looked out the window and saw the kid.
She woke me up and at that moment I had choices to make. Do I shoot him, chase him off or call the cops. My wife gave me the, “ aw crap, you want to kill him” look.
I called the police and chased the kid off. Police came 1/2 hour later.
Should have shot him.
In this case I think you did the right thing
I do understand though to feeling of protecting your family
Hopefully you gave that kid a come to Jesus moment and he won’t do it again
No. You should have made him mow your lawn.
