More people in the eastern states will freeze to death during harsh winters for lack of coal and oil than die of greenhouse gases in a hundred years. And die of NY heat in the summertime heat waves without air conditioning. Pampered American liberal idiots have no idea how rough it would really be without the luxuries, er, necessities (manufacturing, transportation, heat, cooling, food, water, electricity, etc.) provided by coal, gas and oil.
I remember working in Massachusetts tech corridor in the 1980s and experiencing rolling blackouts in the summertime.
Can’t think things have gotten much better on the energy side (especially with the push to get people to charge their cars up day and night).
Computer companies don’t get much work done when the power is turned off.
